El ministro de Agricultura, Alimentación y Medio Ambiente, Miguel Arias Cañete, ha asegurado este viernes que, tras la reunión mantenida esta misma semana con la comisaria europea de Pesca, Maria Damanakis, falta "un empujón final" para cerrar un acuerdo de pesca con Marruecos, y cree que solo falta "una ronda" de negociaciones para alcanzarlo.
En declaraciones a los periodistas en Cádiz, donde ha asistido a la presentación oficial de la Cátedra Externa de Bienestar Animal, Arias Cañete ha detallado que la Comisión Europea ya ha planteado ofertas de compensación financiera "más importantes", además de que las condiciones técnicas están "virtualmente resueltas" y, por ello, entiende el ministro que "solo faltaría una ronda".
Lo que va a hacer el Gobierno de España, según ha añadido, es "impulsar al máximo nivel" la negociación con Marruecos para "cerrar definitivamente esta fase" porque "la Comisión ya ha hecho un esfuerzo financiero para aproximarse a Marruecos, las cláusulas de respeto a los Derechos Humanos están ya redactadas y falta muy poco para el empujón final", ha sostenido.
Al hilo, ha instado a cerrar "definitivamente" este acuerdo porque, tal y como ha recordado, la flota pesquera que faenas en aguas del país vecinos lleva "más de dos años parada y sin ayudas, porque el plazo máximo era de un año".

ResponderEliminarEste hombre no se entera. Esas cláusulas están redactadas desde 1948 en la Declaración Universal de Derechos Humanos. Lo que hace falta es que se cumplan. Y él no parece estar muy por la labor si sigue colaborando en el robo de los recursos naturales saharauis y en el mantenimiento de la ocupación.
Creíamos que Moratinos era el más inútil, pero este y Margallo ya están a la misma altura.
